This is a lovely old collar or neck bib that is made in Battenburg tape lace.  The piece buttons at the top with a plastic button - I’m unsure, but I would think that the button was replaced at some point.  The lace is in an off-white color, towards an ivory or ecru tone.  It measures 6 3/4” in height at the center point and 16 1/2” around the interior edge - the exterior edge measures 38” around.  It is in very good condition with no signs of wear.
